SuperarWhere music ignites social change

At Superar, every child is a star, regardless of their background. Founded in Vienna in 2009, Superar is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing quality music education to children from diverse socio-economic, religious and cultural backgrounds.

What began as a musical journey involving 350 children in three Vienna elementary schools has grown into a movement spanning seven European locations with over 4,000 children participating in orchestra, choir and music programs. The belief in free music education for every child is at the heart of everything Superar does.

Active in Austria, Romania, Hungary, Germany, Slovakia, Switzerland and Bosnia & Herzegovina, Superar bridges gaps and builds connections across Europe.

Its music programs, which run from 4 to 6 hours per week, go beyond traditional music education. They foster a sense of community and celebrate diversity by providing equal opportunities for all participants. From the youngest members of the children’s choir, as young as 4 years old, to teenagers honing their skills in the orchestras, Superar is a stage where every child can shine. Superar believes in a vibrant community and diversity, promoting integration, equal opportunities and quality music education.
